Welcome the James Howard Band band to the vineyard for the first time with us! They won the Washington Blues Society’s competition in 2016 to represent the Pacific Northwest at the prestigious International Blues Challenge in Memphis Tennessee and we’re so excited to have this award winning original blues and rock band inspired by Carlos Santana, Stevie Ray Vaughan, Jimi Hendrix and Pat Travers. If it’s possible to relax into excitement, to paint color on sound, then listening to James Howard fill a space with music is such an experience. His guitar evokes an other-worldly quality, ethereal and expansive yet grounded and earthy. It makes sense that Howard is known as much for his Rock/Blues originals as the layered instrumentals he plays.
Reservations can be made online here. Cover charge is $5 per person – Club 107 members receive up to four complimentary covers with the discount code sent July 12th. Please email Sarah at club@ankenyvineyard.com to have the code resent to you.
Tasting Flights are not available during live music events. Estate Club members can choose a complimentary glass from the flight and Club 107 members can choose a glass from any wines we’re pouring by the glass.
